Overview

The VL200 LED Video Light from Godox is a lightweight and compact LED monolite-style light source suitable for portrait, still life, and location photography, and also for video-based applications. The daylight-balanced COB LED features a CRI rating of 96 and TLCI rating of 95, producing highly accurate color renditions and rendering extremely realistic flesh tones. The VL200 light body is operated and powered from an external controller, keeping it compact and lightweight. It features a whisper-quiet fan and an integrated Bowens-style reflector mount, making it compatible with a wide array of light modifiers.

The controller box contains dual V-mount battery plates, and an LCD display with intuitive controls and command dial for making adjustments to the light body locally. Setting can also be adjusted wirelessly using the separately-available radio remote, or by using Bluetooth-enabled portable devices with the GodoxPhoto app, available as a free download for iOS and Android devices.

RGB Mode
Create any color that you need for your composition by adjusting the hue (0 to 360°), color saturation, (0 to 100), and brightness (0 to 100%).
CCT Mode
Dial in the color temperature to give a cool or warm look to your images. You can adjust the R1 from tungsten to balanced daylight (2500 to 8500K).
Music Mode
Music Mode is one of the special effects. It gives you the ability to have the light pulse with the sound of music, clapping, knocking, or other sounds. The light's colors can also change as the volume goes up or down.

Resembling a tulip cup, very deep canopy of this softbox is one of its important features. This shape allows the user to control precisely where the light falls. If necessary, the hexadecagon can also be used with a honeycomb (available separately).

The Softbox is delivered in a handy case easy to transport and storage.

Hexadecagon is made of the highest quality materials. The plating is sewn from high quality taffeta nylon with a rip-stop weave, which combines a low mass with high mechanical strength. Interior is covered with a color neutral silver screen, which is designed to reflect the light and evenly spread them on the diffusers.

Softbox is equipped with two diffusion surfaces made of rip-stop polyester. Inner diffuser has a sewn-in extra sheet in its central part to limit the focus of light from the lamp.
