Vanguard Alta BH-300 Ball Head
The Alta BH-300 Ball Head from Vanguard is a 1.3 lb Arca-type head that can support cameras that weigh up to 66.1 lb. Located inside the clamp is a safety pin that prevents the plate from sliding out if the clamp is partially opened. Moreover, the 4.6" tall head has three separate knobs to control it; the main locking knob governs the movement of the ball, the friction control knob adds or decreases drag on the ball per your comfort level, and the third knob enables the ball head to pan a full 360°.

A single-cut notch on the side allows a mounted camera to move in a 90° vertical angle. Mounting the ball head to a tripod is easily done via the 3/8"-16 thread, but a 1/4"-20 bushing adapter is included for those tripods with a smaller thread. Vanguard Alta BH-100 Ball Head
The Vanguard Alta BH-100 is an Arca-type ball head that has a load capacity of 22.0 lb and can be attached to tripods or other support systems that feature a 3/8"-16 mount.

Cameras or accessories that are compatible with a 1/4"-20 mount can be connected to the included QS-60 V2 Quick Release Plate. The quick release plate can be attached or removed from the integrated clamp located at the top of the head's ball-and-socket joint by tightening or loosening the clamp's knurled, locking knob. Within the recessed surface between the clamp's jaws is a retaining pin. This pin prevents an installed QS-60 V2 Quick Release Plate from accidentally sliding off when the clamp is opened. The quick release plate features a rubberized, non-slip platform while two built-in bubble levels along the edges of the clamp accommodate landscape or portrait orientations.

By loosening the ball head's primary locking knob, the head's ball-and-socket joint can be quickly swiveled, angled, fully tilted, or returned to its upright position. Variable tension can be applied to the ball-and-socket joint's movements by rotating the friction knob located above the primary locking knob. Toward the side of the ball head opposite the primary locking knob is a secondary locking knob, which controls the ability to rotate the head 360°.

The HC-28 Horizontal Panoramic Carbon Fiber Center Column System from Leofoto is a 15.75"" carbon fiber extension set that allows an adjustable center column to be added to a tripod without a center column. The rugged but lightweight carbon-fiber column can be rotated a full 360° and tilted 180° from horizontal to fully vertical in either a standard or inverted orientation. One end of the column features a mounting platform with a reversible 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 mounting stud and three set screws to securely mount virtually any tripod head and prevent it from rotating.
